Loren started playing trombone in 1980 and has an eclectic musical history. Having been in alternative rock bands like Imaginary Friend and Loudflower and currently playing with the Atlanta Wind Symphony and Tradición Latina (salsa), there are few styles he hasn’t tried at least once. He also plays electric bass with Red and the Beavers and does as much freelance work as he can handle. His reliable income comes from serving as Repair Shop Administrator at Ken Stanton Music in Marietta. Having grown up mainly in the northwest, he relocated to the Atlanta area in 1990 and truly appreciates the southern hospitality that has been extended towards his sonic endeavors.
